INGREDIENT LIST 1:
6 cups sliced cucumbers (any cucumber works, as does zucchini)
1 cup sliced onions
Place above ingredients into a glass jar. A half gallon jar works nicely.
INGREDIENT LIST 2:
1 3/4 cup sugar
1 cup vinegar (white pickling vinegar is best)
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
Mix ingredients from list 2 cold, and pour over the cucumber and onion mix. Let stand in refrigerator for 3 days. Do not add any other liquid, as cucumbers will make their own juice.
